A Journey back to Nature…

Hi, I’m Nicolette

The heart behind MixedByNic.

Plants found me when I needed them most.

Before my injury, I didn’t drink tea, work with herbs, or live a plant-based life. But when my body began reacting to foods, fragrances, and everyday products, plants became the one place that felt gentle and safe.

Before all of this, I ran a catering business I loved deeply, one I built with my hands and big heart. After a traumatic brain injury in 2022, I was forced to step away from that life and listen to my body in a new way.

Herbalism met me in that space.

Each blend and creation I make today began as something I needed , crafted slowly, intentionally, and with care. Healing hasn’t been linear, but plants have remained a steady guide.

MixedByNic is rooted in that relationship, a place where nature, lived experience, and intention come together.

I’ll be sharing more about my journey, how each product was born, and free herbal and plant-based recipes along the way.
For now, I’m grateful you’re here.

We’re all growing.
We’re all reclaiming our roots.

Rooted in Nature.

Everything I create begins with the earth. I use organic herbs, locally sourced plants, and ingredients I forage with care. My jewelry is crafted from natural gemstones and materials gathered from nature or found through trusted local partners, always chosen with intention and respect for the land.

When we return to the earth, we return to ourselves.
